Bunmarra (Troy Lenihan) was born in Penrith the Dharug country of NSW and is one of five children, and a descenddant of the Budawang People of the Yuin Country of sourthern NSW, with strong family connections to the cadigal People of La Perouse known as Eora country.

He is the great grandson of Elizabeth Jane Cooley (Ma Page) and Bill Page, granson Elvie Pearl Page and Chips Pender. Bunmarra is married with three childre: twin 3 year old boys and a new baby boy born recently.

Bunmarra is an internation artist, having held exhibitions nationally and internationally. He has been commissioned by both government and none government agencies inc reating paintings, and continually has public requests for his work. He has donated artworks to hospitals, charities, youth organisations, doctors. The aray of countries that he has exhibited in are Germany, Europe, Hungary and Austria.

Bunmarra's artwork can only be described as 'pure perfection' from his themes to his immaculate dot work. As an acclaimed artist, Bunmarra has brought to focus in the international art forum his link to the cultural and spirituality of his ancestors and the Dreaming. His artwork is highly sought after.
