Richard was born in Coonabarabran, north west of NSW and lived most of his life in Sydney NSW, and now resides in the Shoalhaven heads area of south east NSW.

Richard's list of exhibitions, display and projects is extensive, he is an international and nationally renowned artists. Aboriginal culture, which is reflected in his artworks.His perfectionism with style, techniques and spirituality within his artwork is unsurpassed. Richard is one of the rare few that has cultural permission to recreate the 'Wadjina' and images of the Kimberley and Central Desert areas, he is avid in ensuring that he stays within the boundaries of the permission, and recreates the images with intense dignity and respect to the Indigenous cultures they belong to.
